About a week ago Li Hong asked me to join her treasure hunt, at first i thought she wasn't serious, so i didn't pay that much attention to it, but just a few days ago she convinced me to join. i mean like, why not? i was thinking this should be fun! and so i told her that i would take part. and about 2 days before the actual event i find out that i'll be needing a partner! where am i gonna find a partner for this treasure hunt!? most of my friends aren't really into these kinda things. And then i remembered someone who might just be as bored as i am...
I met Kaj (pronounced 'Kai') about a few weeks ago, i'm his big sis's neighbour in Aberdeen. he's here visiting a few friends and his girlfriend's friends and family. He's from Sweden, but his parents are originally from Hong Kong. If you're wondering about his name, it's swedish spelling for a chinese name.
Anyway, about the treasure hunt! we got there on time, but just as usual in Malaysia, u get everyone coming about 30 minutes late. but in the end there were only 4 teams.. =( i think there were more organisers than participants.

taking a pic of Xin Ying taking a pic of me =PThey gave us a variety of tasks to complete from spotting differences, shooting hoops, blowing on flour and even buying ice! oh yea, our team name is 'Superheroes' sadly, i forgot to tell Kaj to wear his superman shirt!
Let's put a smile on that face!!No matter what the task, ALOT of running was involved! i think me and Kaj's team ran the most, but stupid busses gave time for the other teams to catch up! >=(
Me and Kaj thinking we got the grand prize, hehehe.seems that there was some miscommunication between the organising team, and so there was this huge meeting after refreshments before they gave the prizes. One of the lecturers even came to try solve the problem. seems, that we didn't get first place, which was alright. me and Kaj were just in it for fun. we weren't even studying there! =P and so, everything was resolved, and me and Kaj are satisfied with our medal and shirts we got! =) we even gave our third prize to the fourth team cause we both didn't think we'd be using the discount vouchers. It was all good fun! we didn't come to win the prize, we took part in it to have fun! and we did =D
Came back pooped! went straight on my bed and fell asleep for a couple of hours before waking up to dinner. wow, i really needed a shower then. and the flour stayed in my hair until the shower! =S
It was another good day =D
i better head off to bed, it's 1:45am and i gotta wake up in just over 2 hours! going to Cameron Highlands with my family for the weekend.
Came back pooped! went straight on my bed and fell asleep for a couple of hours before waking up to dinner. wow, i really needed a shower then. and the flour stayed in my hair until the shower! =S
